Not a homeowner and only a moderate fan of construction. But Adam is so entertaining and The TLC show was so great this is an instant subscription.

OMG, ACE Broadcasting is becoming a real network. I can only imagine what it might have been like watching CBS, NBC & ABC grow into the networks we now know and love. I guess I actually did watch FOX grow into a major network…oh, nevermind.

I would love to get that, since TLC isn’t interested in releasing the DVD.

    Aceman,

I can’t open a fucking can of soup, let alone work on my house. But I LOVE the new Ace on the house. And Nick kills me whenever he’s on. Either way, I enjoy hearing you yap about your passion / the poison of your 20′s.

    Get it on!

I swear when I said I wanted more “Ace on the House” or guests like Nick Offerman I had no Idea I’d be getting an Ace on the House WITH Nick Offerman the very same week. Who could ask for anything more? Love hearing tips from someone who has hands on experience and wisdom to share and it’s a subject I really enjoy.

How can I ask Adam a question for the Ace on the House podcast? I’m in Chicago and have a question for Adam about his opinion of soundproofing a condo.

If you subscribe to Adam’s twitter they usually put up a time and call in number for questions.

Glad you brought back this back. Painter here by trade, but always interested in construction advice as a homeowner. Also, keep Larry Miller. He is either insane or brilliant. keep getting that shit on -& good call w/ Alison.

Get it on with plastic gang boxes! I’d like to hear Adam’s take on why we can’t build homes that are more, how can I say, remodel friendly. Why must everything be secured & fastened as if it will *never* need to be moved. Case in point, gang boxes & romex nailed to studs. After replacing all my ungrounded lines from the 50′s, I thought to myself that it would’ve been much simpler if didn’t have to 1) demo the crap out of the wall just to remove a gang box and 2) fish entirely new routes cuz couldn’t pull existing, stapled cables through.
