Adam asks The Professor Sandy Ganz to sit in with him to help answer questions about thief-proofing your tools, and building a wine cellar.
Just after recording a CarCast together, Adam has Sandy join him for the latest installment of Ace on the House. The first caller wants to know how to thief-proof his tools, and Adam recalls the time his own tools were stolen. He and Sandy trade stories about their buddies Ray and Chris, and Adam talks with a guy trying to turn his basement closet into a wine cellar.
Another caller wants to rip up his carpet and lay down some laminate floor, so Adam and Sandy have suggestions for taking the proper measurements. Adam also speaks to someone whose floor is slowly sinking in, and another who needs help installing a heavy bag in his garage.
The last set of callers includes a guy who has issues with the copper pipes in his house. Adam and Sandy also discuss the advantages to going to a real tool store as opposed to Home Depot, and rant about the ridiculousness of paint color names. The final caller has paint peeling inside his house, and Adam and Sandy offer advice that will help bring him and his wife closer together.
