Adam discusses insulation, concrete, voltmeters, and why he doesn’t actually hate people.
Adam admits to hating his days as a carpenter, but he’s more than happy to share his wealth of knowledge with you, the listener. The first caller has a house from the early 1900s with an addition added in the 70s. He can’t get through for the insulation, and Adam offers some alternative advice. He also talks to a caller who wants to know about tankless water heaters.
Dave from Denver has a problem with crumbling concrete, and Adam compares shopping for concrete to getting a shitty haircut. He also talks about taking fan pictures, and the lady who thought he hated people. Adam then speaks with a caller with a knob and tube wire question, and explains the difference between fuses and breakers.
The next caller is toying with the idea of creating a vaulted ceiling, which Adam loves. He says it’s going to be a messy job, but explains the many benefits of having it. Adam also addresses a question about a pet-lovers podcast, and answers questions about cheap flooring alternatives and voltmeters. Wrapping things up, Adam talks to a guy about remodeling his basement, and suggests the help of one of our sponsors.
