Encore Presentation: Adam and Ray

Encore Presentation: Adam and Ray

Adam’s buddy Ray Oldhafer joins the podcast to take your home improvement calls, and discuss some hilarious stories from the past.

Show Summary

Adam opens the show talking about today’s guest: his old pal Ray Oldhafer. The guys give each other a hard time, but Adam reminds everyone that Ray has an expertise in masonry and general contracting. The guys then respond to a couple emails about fixing up a sunroof, and keeping your freedom doors from rotting.

Moving to the phone lines, Adam and Ray answer a question about fart fans, and Adam recalls an old story about finding a nudie mag at Ray’s family’s house. Later, they talk with a guy redoing his bathroom tiling, and another who wants to paint his garage floor. As the show wraps up, the guys talk more about power washers, and help a caller whose landlord won’t fix the front lawn.

On the topic of dads with power washers, Ray said his dad didn’t own a power washer, his dad was out chasing ambulances. Was Ray’s dad a personal injury lawyer??

Receiving home window tinting completed on your house is seriously fairly a good notion mainly because it keeps lots of heat and glare produced by the sun out plus it adds a lot more privacy. I’m getting a superb provider that delivers home window tinting in Austin now.

What you posted made a bunch of sense. However, what about this? suppose you were to create a awesome headline? I ain’t saying your content isn’t solid, but suppose you added a headline that grabbed people’s attention? You could glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create post titles to grab viewers interested. You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab readers interested about what you’ve got to say. Just my opinion.

To those trying the floor epoxy on a garage floor, I’d encourage looking at using cement stain instead–it penetrates cement farther than putting a layer on-top and still gives you the water resistance without the slick surface. It won’t cover up any defects in the cement (the cement has to be clean and an etching compund used), but once it’s on, it’s good for life and comes in many colors that are translucent and can be mixed or an opaque primer used to make an opaque finish. Epoxy suffers from hot tire pick-up and eventually wears down or can be chipped/scraped.

Also works great for pool decking.
