Maybe I’m Right, AND An Asshole

Adam talks to Ray about peeing on his client’s dog. The guys also answer questions about vapor barriers, noisy bathtubs, pool tables and dollhouses.

Show Summary

At the top of the show, Adam gives an update on his Dad’s health, and all the new interesting things he’s learning about him. The guys then respond to a video question about repairing foundation that’s close to a staircase, and Ray talks about peeing on his client’s dog. Adam and Ray also answer some Twitter questions, and respond to emails about vapor barriers and noisy bathtubs. Later, the guys chat with callers about a wood deck that’s coming apart from the stucco, a buckled floor in the living room, and how to look for a new contractor. As the show wraps up, Adam rants about Gary not using a saw bag, and Lynette not replacing a switch plate.

An engineer needs to be involved in designing a fix for the bowed foundation wall. Some structural issues can be fixed by a contractor
without having an engineer involved, the bowed wall is not one of
them. That prospective homeowner is not qualified to fix that wall
and should get an estimate for the repair before he puts an offer on the house. Ray is 100% correct, it can’t be fixed from the inside and will be a PITA to fix.

There are several compelling reasons to consider Ivy Tech, including academics, convenience, and cost.
The clock is now slowly dying of a broken heart,
for lack of usefulness. Well into the 20th century
tropical environments were still being characterized as
overly homogenous, limited in terms of agricultural potential, and thus unlikely places for state formation to occur.

There are many jobs that provide a decent salary but do not require a college degree.
In order to grow taller naturally, it is best to
also take some additional measures besides the herbal products.
