Big Grass

Big Grass

Chris Lambton of ‘Going Yard’ joins Adam and Ray for a podcast about shitty sprinklers, cracked retaining walls, and the dangers of spontaneous combustion.

Show Summary

Adam and Ray welcome Chris Lambton of ‘Going Yard’ to the show. The guys talk about marathon episodes, and Chris’ experience on ‘The Bachelorette’. They also talk about Chris’ family landscaping business, and Adam complains about why we haven’t fixed sprinklers yet. The guys then respond to a video question about sprucing up a front lawn, and emails about a cracked retaining wall and pressure washing a porch. Later they discuss bathtub caulking, the importance of radiant barrier, and terrible patch and brickwork. As the show wraps up, Adam recalls the time he tried to help his mom update her driveway.

Adam, when are you gonna tell us what your new house is like! Is there possibly a house in LA nicer than your current home?

OK. I love the shirt. I really do. But, please, it can’t be the only tee you have. Just bring another sweet tee with you, and switch them between shows. Huh? It’s the only tee you have without roofing tar on it?

Maybe you should think about getting a new shirt, then move on to bigger things, like a house. 😉

Still, sweet shirt. Still, get a few tees together and put them in the warehouse so you don’t seem so fucking crazy?

    Love you.

Great show. Great guest. More DIY Network people would be great. Let’s bump it to twice a week. Get Ray a house twice as fast.

    Hey guys,

I doubt Adam ever sees these comments but I feel compeled anyway. We definitely need more of this show or at least more of Ray. Please include Ray boy in either your pod cast or more of this one.

Hey Ray here’s an idea…. start your own pod cast or are you a pussy?

Great show guys, keep it up and more often!

  11. Interestingly reading this content readers will agree with this as it is correct so it’s nifty seeing a poster that’s writing this on the internet to review.

Just spent the afternoon on my hands and knees painting the floor of our 12×12 covered deck in western WA while listening to multiple episodes of Ace on the House. It’s time for some grape-infused liquid pain reliever!

Contrary to popular belief, it does not rain here in WA every day, that’s just what we want outsiders to believe so they won’t move here! (But we want Adam to move here) We actually just had our 36th day of over 80 degrees this summer, it has hardly rained at all and yes, many of us do have sprinkler systems because it does stop raining!!!

Love all you guys, love all the podcasts, I listen to almost all of them. Gary, you are the backbone of the booth, I just wanted you to know that. All of you guys are awesome, Matt, Chris, Dawson, and especially Gary. Thanks for all the great podcasts!
