Don’t Mistake My Apathy For Apathy
Adam and Ray discuss specialty toilet paper rolls, waterproofing your roof access, and why all daughters can’t help but drive their mothers insane.

    Show Summary

Adam opens the show talking with Ray about his epic odyssey trying to recreate some municipal light fixtures for his new house. He also makes fun of the Porcelain Punisher for not knowing what sand casting is. Later, Ray provides Just the Tip, and the guys respond to a video question about wood paneling and wallpaper. The second half of the show involves calls about waterproofing a roof access and trimming a wooden fence. As the show wraps up, Adam and Ray help a caller fix their leaky dishwasher.

Get some poor sculpture student to carve you a few of these out of a chunk of aluminum.

This is where all of Ray’s tips (minus the scaffolding ones) come from. The muffin tin one seemed a little off for a guy like Ray and sure enough, he’s just reading them of a facebook list.

I do enjoy the theme song though!!

CNC that lamp part out of aluminum. It’s a simple part and should be no problem…. and fairly cost effective. I’m sure Jay has a CNC machine

  9. About to give up on this podcast

I’ve bought a case of Mangria, the taco book and listened to all the podcasts. That being said…

Ray is fucking brutal to listen to! Let’s get someone on here who is actually funny and knows something about home improvement. Is he only on here to talk over Adam and act like an idiot? Does Ace just need someone to shit on? This podcast was way better when they actually talked about home improvement. Adam, enough of your 20k problems. Tell us how to fix some shit.

The show is great. Don’t listen to these idiots. A few items I was thinking of:
1: The recommended tool list is a joke. Ray needs some festools so he will recommend some good tools. Maybe Hilti or Bosch?
2: Ray needs to get his contractor’s license. It isn’t hard to do.

    Love the show.

It’s great having a wild-card like Ray on. It’s refreshing to hear someone with no filter for a change. Ray’s just “set in his ways”.

Straight home-improvement talk is boring, that’s why we listen to Adam and Ray.
