    Show Summary

Adam opens the show talking with Ray about having a scenic painter work on his tiles. Ray then chats about his new football podcast with Lorenzo Neal, and Adam goes on an epic rant about raising the field goal posts. The guys also respond to a video question about raising a guesthouse off a slab, and Ray’s Just The Tip segment deals with speed squares. As the show wraps up, the guys take calls about doors, rattlesnakes, and how to build a deck in a snowy area.

The fireplace looks awesome. Can’t believe it fit just right, what a coincidence.

Ace – good job on the fireplace but really – enough jacking yourself off! Any builder worth his salt constantly uses MDF to simulate a wide variety of stuf fin construction. Because it can be laminated and shaped in a wide variety of forms and receive a variety of finishes, it is basically “modeling clay” for the architect. If you over state your genius on this mantle – you are going to sound like a typical celebrity carpenter that amazes himself just because something happened to turn out nice.

If you go back and watch “The Adam Carolla Project” she is on one of the final couple of episodes where she paints a fireplace for him.
